So in response to Paul's idea...I moved my pedals to the most forward position today.
It now appears that the accelerator could be slightly blocked from full extension by a screw in the right foot well wall. Obviously this is a problem only in LHD cars...fascinating design feature
While positioning the assembly while moving it, I don't see any room at all for repositioning further to the right (in LHD cars...)
I'll probably move the assembly to the "next to last" position (I was being lazy and didn't feel like drilling those holes at the time) - that should at least fix that issue...
