Peter, I bought off ebay a van safety locker which, whilst it won't hold bottles, is like a large letterbox sized locking box. I made a suitable hole behind the driver's seat and fixed it in. It's like a very secure quite large glovebox. Of course, I have to tilt the seat forward to use it and it is hidden behind the carpet.
