I remember seeing one of these parked on the Embankment in Dartmouth.
Prince Charles was a student at the Brittania Royal Naval College at the time learning how to drive boats.
He was the owner I believe.
Methinks you have the wrong Windsor Richard. Charles would have been there in 1970 or 71 - the AML didn't come out until '76.
Andrew on the other hand went there in 1979. I did a summer camp that year at the BRNC with the Naval CCF from school and they were busy painting the hell out of everything in preparation for his arrival.
