Hi, I have a 2014 Morgan Plus 4. Today, whilst out driving, the dashboard turn signal arrow on the right failed to illuminate when signalling to turn right. When I switched on the hazards, only the left arrow lit up. I checked the external indicators and all are working, so it is just the right arrow on the display that is not working, The buzzer still sounds. Is there anything I can easily check without having to delve behind the dash?

In my car I'd say "bulb's gone" .... but I've been bitten before commenting on later cars that may well have a separate computer for every dash light!! 😆

Are the indicators coming on on the right when selected on the stork, if not its the contacts dirty/corroded on the stork switch. Ignition off give it a wiggle on and of a few times then switch on and repeat. Fairly sure on your car there is a fuse for left and right indicators and the hazards are independent of them. Could of course be a contact to indicator light light as well. You've just reached the age where a car with no roof or real waterproofing to the connectors will start to have contact issues from damp conditions. Oh! Behind the dash is not frightening either and is easy to open up!

Likely a behind the dash job I'm afraid Bob. This because you confirm all external indicators/hazards work normally. Behind the dash it may be a blown repeater bulb or LED but worth checking for any loose wires to same first.

Assuming you have an early GDI Plus 4 the dash repeaters are located in the drivers LED panel fed via the BCU. A nine pin Tyco connector C96 feeds this panel and the missing repeater o/s illumination is fed via the green/white wire to this connector from chassis loom. It may be the panel is a sealed unit with complete replacement necessary if no break in feed found, but take care not to damage the two isolating diodes on the connector.

Here is the LED panel from my 18 reg GDI, I assume the early GDI's are the same but I might be wrong. The LEDs could be changed but some testing would be needed first to establish where the problem is. My starting point would be to break and then remake any cable connections on route from the BCU to the LED panel, as suggested above.

Interesting that I see only five LED's John. The connector that feeds this panel has inputs from the following:
Left indicator repeater
Right indicator repeater
Handbrake/low brake fluid (shared)
Lights
Main beam
Low oil pressure

Can you explain John or is there a sixth

Edit: Apologies, what I assumed was the light feed (white/green wire) is the common ignition fed power to the drivers LED panel shared with the centre LED one

This means that some of the five LED's are fed directly (indicator repeaters and high beam) others triggered by ground connection (handbrake/brake fluid and oil pressure) which may be helpful in fault finding.

The panel in my pic has: left and right indicators, main beam, h/brake fluid level, and oil press. There is another panel of five led's with seat belt, imobiliser, Engine light, battery and lights.

Thanks John, that's what I eventually surmised as above.

To Bob, if you can place a multimeter set to DC volts on pin 3 (green/white wire) of the relevant LED panels connector and ground - with right indicator selected and flashing you should see 12 volts pulsing in time with flash rate. If so the matching LED has likely blown.

Hi Gents, thanks for all the helpful replies. As luck would have it, I"ve just been out to the car and the light is now working!. I have put a call into Morgan to see what the cost of a replacement PCB is going to be just in case it does completely fail.
