If I change the luggage rack type to the sidescreen holding design, does it sit much higher when the case is fitted? Does it sit so high you can't see backwards anymore or barely noticeable? And finally, is there a design/brand out there that sits lower than the others?

Thanks as always smile

I've got the rack that holds side screens: with a case on the rack you can see the case in the mirror, but rear visibility is fine.

The only problem is the high level brake light is totally obscured, which isn't good. I believe that in France this is a reason for the Police to talk to you.

Removing the light isn't difficult, 4 wood screws and a clip. But I think a LED strip brake light that can be fitted on the top of the case might be wise.
