For those interested this is the DAB aerial I use and usually only have half extended, when in use, which is sufficient.
DAB Aerial This is the exact one, the aerial pad that sticks to the glass is about 30mm square, mine is on the passenger side bottom corner and the cable from the inside one runs under the leather on the dash and then under the dash to the unit, no drilling.
