Thanks guys for all your help, it can indeed be replaced very easily by removing only the wheel on the drivers side(RHD)the part number is SMB 426 by Lucas which can be purchased on eBay for £9.99 delivered. I had to pay £24 at Morgan but then I had no choice because I didn't know the part number. I suggest all S1 owners take a note of this.
