Some of our students study in the Netherlands now as there are no tuition fees, the same applies in Scotland, no tuition fee charges for residents.

It is expected that the parents will cover the cost of living if possible and the student gets a loan for tuition costs.

My two daughters did 4 year degrees one did Law and the other Natural Sciences specialising in Chemistry. This stood them in good stead as they got excellent results and worked straight away, neither wanting a gap year as they didn't want to lose the "study" focus.
My son decided instead to do a Professional Yachtmasters on the Isle of Wight and picks up jobs when he needs to doing yacht deliveries or Island Cruising, being a work to live person.

This money is a little fierce at times especially when my wife has always out of choice been a 24hr Mum but the results speak for themselves.

The kids are an investment for the future and the interest they generate for you far outstrips any Bank or Trust fund.

I wish you luck kin when your Morgan arrives it will taste even sweeter - I waited 33 years for my first one a +8 in 2004, changed to a 4/4 Sport in 2009 new in the Centenary.

Like you I needed the family and house secured before the adventure began, I call it old fashioned thinking but it suits me fine.

There is nothing quite like that first drive...... but it gets better everytime thumbs and then of course you can't do without it.
