I think my Roadster has skateboard grip tape, but I've fitted rubbers over the top.
On Bumble I used a square of double sided tape which just sticks enough to hold the rubbers in place.
Skate board grip tape is an excellent idea, will grip wet or dry and be better to heal and toe on those sporting occasions.
