Does anyone know why the turn signal switch is on the left for RHD vehicles but on the right for LHD vehicles?
I wouldn't bet a pay check on this, but the turn signal lever is about as long as the out edge of the steering wheel. If it were on the left side for a LHD M3W, it would probably hit the cowl as it sweeps down the left side from the dash.
Not enough room to use it safely I would guess.
