My biggest gripe was that they seem to have a soft sidewall and therefore can feel a little unsettled under tough cornering.
I have read that comment on Pistoheads too.
I have had them on a Volvo V70 estate a couple of years back and found the wet grip excellent.
Many trad owners swear by them and they are used a lot for sprints/hillclimbs on trads. Interestingly given the rather 'historical' nature of the trad suspension design I know that higher profile tyres generally suite them better due to the side wall flex you get. Maybe that's why they Toyo is good too.
