At around 800 miles on the way to the dealer I was creeping in heavy traffic when the engine cut out. On restart at third attempt I got huge clouds of white smoke. I pulled into a side street & phone the dealer. The smoke seemed to be getting less & I could not see anything wrong. I decided to carry on slowly stopping several times & the smoke gradually stopped. At the dealer they found oil had come out of the air cleaner & the filter was oil soaked. They fitted & charged for a new filter. Its been fine since. My oil level was not too high as I had checked before departure.
