I experience the same knock in my Plus 8 Gary, but only when I floor it from standstill, so I (try) to avoid doing that
I must be honest though and admit that I normally only do it when I'm taking someone out for the first time and want to impress them with the acceleration. I must try harder not to be a boy racer
