I only use the covers for indoor use and cars are always dry before covering - I use cheap 30 -50 dollar nylon type covers but also put a layer of flannelette (from your local fabric shop ) between the cover and the paint - seems to work pretty well, and no scratching!
Sounds good, I need one for when I'm away and can't garage it as well as when it's at home and tucked up in the warm
