Thanks, CBY. That is very much what I had been thinking of doing (or rather asking the wife to do as she has the skills and the hair!) as I'm all for simple and it looks effective.
Incidentally, driving without side screens for the first time at the weekend I was surprised how much less buffeting there was compared with the Caterham.
