A conical emmanchement amounts in force.
On the second photo, the kneecap is not has the position of origin, the conical part is intact.
An extractor was needed to remove it.

No it wasn't tighten, but the tapered end was about 1 millimeter thicker than the hole drilled.
This amount you can't get fit in with tighten up the nut.
I have the risers of the Empire kit slimmed up with 1 millimeter and now it fits like it should be.
On my wife's M3W which is build a few months later all parts of the Empire kit fits perfectly.
I don't blame the Empire kit but blame Morgan who install a vital part like the original track rod ends which don't fit correctly. This is the same as the bobbins on the right hand exhaust.
