Yes I agree there may be a loss of feel but you definitely do not need to hang on like grim death when a bumpy section of road appears.
I agree, the major reduction in bump steer allows a lighter grip on the wheel and you can carry more speed along a bumpy road.
On one of my favourite back roads I'm now comfortable at 50 whereas pre comfort kit 40 was enough
