I've still got the leather straps and have contemplated the Librands stays for a while now, mainly to help SWMBO getting out (long legs!). However, I like the leather straps and have concerns about getting the SS stays flush to the door card when it is closed.
So, I've decided to stick with the leather straps and agreed to help SWMBO exiting the car in that slightly old fashioned and chivalrous way... hold the door for her
