I spent ages de rattling my car when I first had it. I drove
potty. Had a couple of rattles from what appeared to be behind the dash/steering wheel. One was the wiper rack rattling in its tube and the other was the bonnet hinge. The sheet metal return on the hinge just touched the air filter causing the bonnet to sit slightly high and the hinge would rattle.
