I had a set of 2007 Avons on my Roadster....nearly 3 years old when the factory fitted them on a then new car
They had no cracks and had only done 1500 miles or so from new but the carcass between the treads had gone hard soI changed them to ZV5's to match the spare and they work well in both dry and wet. Toyo Proxes get a good write up here.....I couldn't track any down in my slightly wider size and also Vredesteins are often recommended.
