I know what you mean - had the R888s on the Exige and they were phenomenal once warm. Usable during winter with a gentle right foot.
I've currently got Pirelli Corsa on the Lambo - very good tyres so will explore these for the Mog too.
I have a pair of Pirelli Corsa's on one of my bikes they are multi compound ...that is to say hard in the middle soft on the outside the grip wet / dry is excellent .. not sure if they make them for the Aero
