That truly "sounds" like a promising agenda.
I would strongly recommend however that you also install a bass amplifier: it won't transform the Aldermog into a Boombox, but you will get a more defined sound.

The head unit has provision to do so, but a descent bass speaker and amp will almost double the price!
Amp Sub I was somewhat taken aback at the prices!
If I go ahead I'll use the empty space in the footwell to make an enclosure/footrest, the sound can exit upwards and reflect off the underside of the scutle/bulkhead.
Also I'll need to run a seperate fused power line from the battery as a good sub needs its own 40amp fused spur....And a 700w bass amp uses all the power from the alternator, so you can't run it with the engine off for very long without risking a flat battery.
All in all I'm unconvinced it is worth it. But once it is all finished I may need one more than I think!
