Whilst most of us love the sensation of a perfectly executed manual gearchange, the AeroMax (and its derivatives) were conceived as GT's and consequently, most of them were specified with an auto box.
To my mind it suits the cars personality as it is not a hardcore sports car. Whereas our Westie trackday car has a dog box, wonderful on the track, but a real pain in traffic in built up areas. Horses for courses!
