I don't think 3w owners are they're target audience
I whole heartedly agree. I think of the M3W as a classic British sportscar with a motorcycle engine. But the inevitable comparisons are going to be made. When a new brand comes to market, they'll take a shot at anything established and remotely similar. In this case I think a Morgan Three Wheeler would really dress up the sales floor. This thing looks like a dune buggy.
Top Speed The line between cars and motorcycles is getting thinner every day. Morgan’s Three Wheeler is open topped and uses the majority of bike’s powertrain for proulsion. Track day toys like the Ariel Atom promise the same type of acceleration as superbikes. KTM , a motorcycle company, even builds a competitor car to the Atom called the X-Bow . On the motorcycle side Can-Am has the Spyder , which is essentially a reversed trike.
Now, thanks to the sleuths at Asphalt & Rubber, it looks like we have one more name to add to the list: the Polaris Slingshot . Based on the design photos from a patent application, the Slingshot will feature a design similar to the X-Bow, complete with a side-by-side seating arrangement, but it will feature the three-wheel layout of the Can-Am and Morgan.
