Vspec - I fill at 250 miles following a brimming of the tank..... which used to be fine but now causes the car to cough to a halt if I fill it up too much. How very sweet of it!

My wing-man in his 3-Wheeler ran flat dry at 295miles during a spirited 130km/h drive back from Germany last year, so your mileage may vary, as they say in the US. I think Mr Dab has a very economic right foot, as the best mine does is 33mpg overall if I drive as sensibly as is reasonable.

RE: the stalling when full-to-the-brim. Anyone know exactly what causes it? I assume the breather in the tank doesn't breath any more, as mine started up again once I'd opened the filler for a moment. Characterful things, aren't they?!
