Another thought, while I have the dash in bits ought I change the gauge bulbs to LED's ?
Given the lack of illumination from the bulbs probably worth a try...I wonder if the "dimmer" would work and better, or worse or at all.
I know some LEDs are dimmable and others are not, but don't kow wht.
