Next job when I get home from Harrogate is to try and find out where the water is getting in and stop it, think I'll also drill a couple of drain holes in the bottom of the ECU case and spray the circuit board with ACF-50. Any other suggestions?
ACF is a brilliant product and I use it a lot but IMHO I would not use it on a circuit board or my ECU. It is after all a sticky lubricant that may attract contaminants over time compromising it’s dielectric strength. If you want to protect a circuit board from atmospheric moisture, clean it and use a dedicated conformal coating spray.
