I have 'fixed' my own rectifier-bobbin problem by simply using an additional cable-tie around the unit to prevent the heavy rectifier from jabbing around too much with the growing vibration. My first mounting failure was at 900 miles, but with this cable-tie approach, it has been bobbin-tastic for the subsequent 4,400, which is good.
