The boot is deeper but narrower than the newer cars, the early cars have a fabric 'boot bag' liner, later cars the boot was incorporated in the body shell moulding and lined with carpet. There is a good amount of space behind the seats, probably half that you find on a trad. On a two week French trip there was adequate capacity for two people staying in a gite and b&b, would struggle if camping but did pack a couple of chairs (helinox) and a jetboil stove
