In 1972 when I first fell in Love with the Plus 8 and the price was £1,529
That's about £18,000 in today's money. What's that, about half a Plus 4 nowadays?
I was 21 at the time and on my first overseas contract on Wolfe Island in Canada earning +/- £1,000.00 and had yet to attain UK tax free status and that price seemed like a lot of money - boy I should have bought 5 and just locked them away, unfortunately I never borrow money so it didn't happen.
That's an interesting calculation there....
