Well, how dull was that??
We arrived at 10.30 to see the end of Quali, then a brief 15 min chat with Graham, Jays and GerryWal (hello !!) then up to "Orchard" where
announced "There will be a crash today".
So, 15 mins later, she was proven right (see car being recovered by tractor above).
Just before lunch, the Prescott lap record was broken (see pic with Bonhams banner) with a time of 35.95 secs -
After lunch, the racers went mad - the 1 crash became two, then three etc ending with 5 crashes, two spins and one blown engine. No injuries I am very happy to report.
Plus a sunburnt neck. And all for 15 quid a head!!
As I say, quite dull really but I
might be persuaded to go again.
