I'm with Nigel, "the process" sounds like a lot of work. I dont want to spend too much time. I use Ivo's trick to remove flies: cover the area's with cloth, soak and leave for 15 min. The flies wipe off effortless, (Thanks Ivo)
I wash the car with water and wipe dry regularly. Doesn't take much time and result is shiny enough for me. Washed and Waxed it today and plan to do that maybe every three months. If after 5 to 10 years its looks shabby, get a re-spray, which also gets rid if any scratches and stone chips that wax won't cure anyway. Pragmatic?
