Taxi to town. Rental car to Calais. Foot passenger to Dover. Rental car to Malvern. Pick up the parts. Rental car to Dover. foot passenger to Calais. Rental car to Nancy. Taxi to garage. I fit the parts. 2 hours later i am bypassing Reims.
The left exhaust cracks open. Not in the normal place, this time One of the captive nuts which hold the shield to the silencer pops out along the weld line.
now there is a half inch hole in the side of my silencer. it sounds like a helicopter.
Fortunately i have exhaust gum and pack it in. no matter how bad the noise is i am not repeating the trip to Malvern in rental cars.
So today i again call Malvern.
can i get an exhaust?
no one available from parts or to tell me about about parts or if they can lower the price of the 300 pound exhaust (it is the second in a week).
they will get someone to call you back.
an hour goes by and no call
so i go there in person. its only an hours drive.
no one available to tell me if they can lower the price of the 300 pound exhaust. Sorry the managers are all out today.
me: Ok well i can take the part i thought.
junior manager: no, sorry we have no left exhausts in stock.
me:ok, when will you have some available.
junior manager: i dont know.
me: what time frame are we talking about? 1 week or a month/
junior manager: sorry i dont know, we normally expect to work on a parts order over a 2-4 week time frame.
so here you go. take your morgan touring and you have lots of fun!
Thats just great service isn't it?
