I ordered British Racing Green with black hood with stone interior.
When we went to collect it we thought it was a different colour to the one chosen. (It was, one sidescreen was the right colour, but that's another story)
The black hood made it look very heavy and the green dull.
We were lucky as the hood was faulty and we were able to upgrade to a green mohair on replacement.
This brought the colour to life and now we like it, whatever BRG it is.
Be careful with black hoods with dark colours as it can make the car look heavy.
Having said that it does seem to work with all black.

We have a simple solution to the black hood problem. We don't put it on! Only been on once in 22 months and then it was raining so hard nobody could hardly see the car so couldn't tell what colour the car was!
Our Sport Green with saddle brown interior really does look at it's best in this beautiful sunshine.
