I worked for Leyland when the first XJS'S CAME OUT SO THERE WERE A FEW V12 E Types still about that they couldn't shift, bright yellow, pinkish and a skin coloured number, there was a company in Brum that made fibreglass hoods with different lights and grills in...I have seen a small number of them back in the mid 70s...the bubble over the lights was dropped by Leyland to expensive and so made the front uglier than normal that's when some small companies started the copies....you,ll prob find at some point its been smashed up and a joey bonnet bolted to it....my brother had a fibreglass e type copy that bolted on to a ford Pop.... seem to remember it was made by Jago? death trap that was nearly as ugly as the one in the picture...luckily it only had a 100e engine with a 3 speed box in it.
