(a nurse as some of you know) was horrified by the second punch.
A hit in the head, with force, with head flat on the ground is highly likely to result in brain injury (as well as the obvious black eye). Just because someone is talented, he should not escape due punishment. So :
1) Instant dismissal from Wigan;
2) Lifetime ban AND
3) Prosecution by the police for ABH - and jail if he has any previous.
That MIGHT just convince youngsters that violence is not acceptable at ANY level of sport.
