On the subject of delivery dates, I'm not so sure it is necessary to order and wait 6 - 9 months. Surely just a ring around the dealers will find one or two with almost immediate build slots?
My initial feeling over 2 years ago was that Morgan should be playing the long game and keep customers waiting, not have dealers with unsold build slots devaluing the brand. Maybe 6 - 8 years was pushing it a bit, but a year or so would not harm, and then when the customer took delivery they would immediately order another one for 12 months delivery, with the assured knowledge that they could sell the one year old car for what it cost them. It worked then and it could work again.
