I've run an earlier car, an SC, for twelve months and it's been a joy to own.

These are cars that were built to a very high standard and were always at the forefront of performance and desirability.

Comparing them with their peers such as Ferrari and Aston Martin, neither of which are anything like as accessible or usable, their current prices could actually still be seen as something of a bargain.

My opinion is that the air-cooled Porsches still have a long way to go before the prices level out. Buy now while you still can...



Thanks for the lesson in desirability there Mike - as they are useable everyday icons and high milers are they likely to be rebuilt as necessary and continue to be used or do you think they will become investments at that stage.

Peter some wild prices there I had no idea.

I once saw a Red Turbo just like Clippers in a Service area on the M6 back in "Red Braces" day looking stunning and the Reg was UPU 2 I took a photograph and will try and find it sometime.
