Hello all.
Can anyone offer a good tip on how to remove the interior mirror back plate so that i can reposition it lower down. The standard position is smack bang in my line of sight! I have carefully tried a stanley blade in one corner but it didn't do a thing. (2001 4/4 for reference).

Try using a hair dryer, blowing heat towards the backplate should slowly melt the glue...
