...just to put your mind at rest, the factory handed her over from new and I was tasked with doing the shakedown miles (first 1,000) before we left for Nordkapp. Both the factory, and the participants, wanted all the cars to be serviced prior to leaving for the 5,000 miles - I treated that Plus 8 like my own Morgan and as I suffer from automotive-OCD and it was pampered during the bedding in miles.
Boshly (Andy) bought it after taking part in the Nordkapp trip is also on this site, as is the person who bought it from him, if I'm not mistaken. So, you should be able to build up a full picture of the ownership prior to yourself.
