I have that same motor in my '13 Buick Verano. It's a great running and powerful motor for the size. My car gets on average 32 to 34 mpg.

I believe the "drive package" is from the now out of production Pontiac Solstice and the Saturn Sky. They were an inline drive with 5spd trans. This should be a VERY dependable drive line.

With all of the quads and larger off road vehicles that Polaris has had over the years I'm sure the BB will be of the same brute strength that the motor/trans exhibits. They also have tons of rear belt drive experience with their Victory line of motorcycles and now with their acquisition of the Indian brand of motorcycles, they seem to be cornering the market.

I'm not a big fan of the Slingshot design, but I have to respect their engineering and target market. I'm sure their target with this low of a price point will be the 25 to 40 age group where the M3W is probably geared more towards the same demographics as Harley Touring bikes, 40 to 70 etc.

I'm wondering about how Z has been doing and if he's received his Slingshot that he has on order. It would be interesting to know how he likes it compared to his M3W.
