I recently watched a programme (POSH PAWN).... as described its equity rich, cash poor people cashing in their wares, a Guy was cashing in his Ferrari and explaining how after a life long ambition to own one he was disheartened to find people actually Spat at his car when passing.
That is terrible but unfortunately, in the UK at least, there is a rather nasty jealously over wealth, particularly after the banking crisis but it has always been there.
with some people In the UK there is a presumption that wealth is inherited or ill gotten as a vestige from our class society
I think it is a blessing that most people, even if they know its a Morgan (whether an trad or an Aero), have no real idea how much they cost or their value.
