Immediately obvious was the lack of paint on the calipers. That is a good thing because the paint used before was not brake fluid - proof. The rectifier is mounted sideways now as opposed to head - on. And the uprights to cure bump steer look different on this one for some reason. The exhausts now have a different profile where they bend slightly before the silencers. It still sounds mega though.
I'm sure more will become apparent when I eventually collect it.
My car's rectifier is also mounted sideways. Don't know what "calipers" are. About the "bending" exhausts I'm really curious. Do you mean the sideways section (between the flexible part and the silencers) or do you mean the headers? Because if it is the headers bending downwards I suspect that is because someone at MMC decided more clearance was needed between the headers and the plastic of the turn signals.
And while they achieved the needed clearance (at least my turn signals show no sign of melting, even with glowing headers close by), they compromised the clearance between same headres and the front suspension, if a Suplex set is fitted. This was Peter (Gambalunga) suspicion when he looked at my M3W's apparently "bended" headers a few months ago.
More on this when I get my car back from the workshop tomorrow. Currently there to fit the new shorter springs and spacers from Suplex.
EDIT - Tricycles don't need front license plate in Portugal so I took it off. According to my son now it appears I have two machine guns at the front. It's the Hurricane/Spitfire analogy I guess
