Just a personal opinion, which the heading did seem to encourage!
To my (non-engineering eyes) the HD looks too heavy, too narrow an angle Vee, has too much chrome and generally, the Ace looks too much of a blacksmith's job compared to the stick-insect delicacy of the
original. 
Give me a Triking or a Jeluli any day; just my 2p worth.
