Hi all.happy new year. Went for a spin in mog yesterday, around 70 miles with swmbo and with hood down. The temp gauge was reading circa 70 to 80c. I am wondering if this is a tad low. We had the heater on full bore so this may have reduced the engine running temp. Can't find info in handbook re engine temp for a 4/4.it is a new model this year. Any thoughts talk morganers
The Plus 8 sits at 103 degrees Centigrade, the book says 105. I have 2 temperature displays, one is a traditional dial and the other is a digital numeric output that is part of the BMW multi functional display within the speedometer.
I have no oil pressure gauge at all, just a warning light.
Very strangely both the fuel gauge and temperature gauge are accurate, don't change with the angle or speed of the car, or the heater setting.
