Panther made an alloy bodied version. It wasn't a kit but a fully assembled car. Not as accurate as the Suffolk but they were very expensive when new and yet don't seem to fetch huge prices now.

I've often thought that with a bit of imagination and not too much expenditure either of the above could be made to look more "correct" and you'd end up with an all aluminium car for far less than the cost of a Suffolk.



You're clearly good at that sort of thing Mike, but to me there seems to be a lot that would need modifying to get either of those two to look anything close to the real thing.

The Suffolk SS100 does look the part, & they seem to pop up every now and then around the 40K mark - for example this one
