Actually Simon, I've used all those things in the past. It's my Blue Peter apprenticeship with Val, John and Peter Perfect.
I'm only just getting started. There are more ideas in the pipeline. The hardest thing was getting the picture posting sorted. Quite frankly the photo hosting sites are a pain in the proverbials. Give me a sheet of stainless,a hacksaw and a box of assorted fasteners anytime. Aside from my vintage ASDAJack (Ching Ching), I built a tracking gauge about 30 years ago from some offcuts of wood and a few nails, and have never paid for tracking since.
