Mulling things over, probably means I have too much time on my hands. I am considering a bonnet strap for my '08 +4, I had one on my first '95 Morgan,

I intend to use some protective film (same as Defendall and used to protect painted rear bumpers on estate cars at Volvo) under it to protect from wear at the rub points. I am looking to get a double buckle one as I always seem to walk to the wrong side of the car or need the opposite side bonnet open. Can't find anyone supplying them any more, any idea's?, also is this a good or bad idea. My car is Aston Martin Meteorite Grey (Silver Mica) and just thinking a black strap would just set it off? What do you guys think?
