This from this month's MGOC Magazine.
The MGF is very sensitive to both tyre brand and tyre pressures. It appears that Toyo have applied some changes to the T1R's at September 2014 whether manufactured in Japan or at their new facility in Malaysia. So owners of MGF's who have replaced the rear set (quickest to wear) with post Sept 2014 spec tyres have encountered problems with handling that have been solved by fitting new front tyres to the same revised spec.
Obviously Morgans may not have such sensitivities to tyres, but it's worth knowing if you run Toyo Proxes T1R's that there is a difference either side of that date.
