The legality of these systems for the MoT test is something else that also needs clarifying.
Not really the right question as passing a MOT test does not mean the car is legal! The law on vehicle lighting desperately needs updating though as it the way it is written, a car equipped with original HIDs and or LEDs is legal, but the same model that left the factory with incandescent bulbs and has been retro fitted might not be!
